I wish i was a......

I wish i was a cat. Being a cat, has its advantages and also disadvantages. Cats get to sleep any time they want. If cats are owned by good ans kind owners, they would not have to worry about food, sleeping area and fun. Their owners would take good care of them. The disadvantages of being a cat is that, if you are a stray cat, you will have to find food yourself, find a suitable sleeping area, and have to beware of people who would abuse you.

YOG Reflection

After watching the videos that Mr Tan had shown, i have learnt many things about YOG. Friendship , Excellence and Respect. When going to any competition, we would surely make new friends. And during the actual race // event, we would still have to treat our friends as enemies, so that we can strive to be the best. Good competitors and good friends, would not judge each other or have a different impression of another person based what they get for the race. Instead, they would congratulate their friend, or even tell them that they did really well, despite the fact that they did not win. Excellence, we have to give our best even though we feel tired and we must not give up. As shown in the video, the teenager lost her left arm sue to a shark attack which happened when she went surfing. Instead of giving up, like what most people would do, she took her time just to learn how she can surf again, even though she had lost one of her hand. Learning how she could balance, despite the loss of an arm. From the videos, i learnt that nothing is impossible and you can always achieve what you want, just as long as you have the will to do it. As most people would say, "When there's a will, there's a way".

INTERNET VS CENSORSHIP

I think that internet ~~should not~~ / should be censored as is it is not censored, people can easily hack accounts and most of this comes from China. Google said that Beijing targeted email accounts of Chinese Human rights activists around the world. Without censorship, the Internet, you may be facing grave danger as your personal information such as name, address, credit card number etc. can be accessed by other culprits to make your problems worse. So, i think that we ~~should not~~ / should have censorship.

Summary

People do NOT go for regular eye checks and due to that, people do not know if there is anything wrong with their eyes. Proffessor Wong Tein Yin, director of Singapore Eye Research Institute, who headed the study said, "Of the people picked up to hae glaucoma, 90 percent had not seen an eye doctor or were aware they had glaucoma. People should be mindful of their health.People should check their eyesight every six months, just like how they visit the dentist every six months. Even though we may be able to read the bottom of the chart, it does not equate to good eye health. People in the high risk group are those with a family history of galucoma, rentinal detachments or blindness, or those suffering from hypertension. People who are from this group has to go for eye checks more often than normal people do.

Reflection(:

Singaporeans should go for eye checks more regularly and not neglect their eyesight. They could easily lose their eyesight without them knowing it.

Late School Start Time.

I think its good to have a late school start time as students who are not early risers would have an easier time trying to prepare for school. School should start late as if the students are sleepy when they are in school, they cannot concentrate, if they cannot concentrate, they won't do well, if they don't do well, their results will be at stake. I feel that school SHOULD start late. ((:
